I love that we both wake up with crazy hair
and that neither of us care.
We just want to snuggle and play
and are eager to start our day.
I selfishly love that she will sit and watch Mickey Mouse
so that I can do a few things around the house.
Her favorite thing to do has always been to dance
and now she’s loving her new found prance.
There is just something magical about mornings now that Rory is around.
I have days where I wish she would sleep just a few minutes longer, but as soon as I go into her room and see her sweet smiling face and hear her laughter of excitement it all fades away.
Some of our most special times have been spent in the mornings together – snuggled up on the couch, playing on the floor, chasing the dogs around, and eating breakfast together.
These are the moments that are so precious to me. I realize how limited time is and how I will never get these days back. I wouldn’t trade anything for these sweet mornings with my baby girl.
