Friday Faves: Makeup Edition

I never got around to filming my January Faves since I was having camera issues so I thought today I would post five makeup favorites from January.

1. L’oreal TrueMatch Concealer

I have fallen madly in love with this concealer. It is the perfect amount of coverage and blends so well.

2- (shocker) Tarte Amazonian Clay 12 Hour Blushes in the color Fearless

I know, I know. You are completely sick of me talking about these blushes. I JUST WANT TO GET MY POINT ACROSS SO YOU WILL ALL GO BUY IT AND SEE WHAT MAKEUP HEAVEN LOOKS LIKE.

If you enter the code ‘SWEET’ you get 20% off your order. DO IT.

3- Stila Stay All Day Waterproof Eye Liner in Jet Black

I finally got my hands on this and I AM IN LOVE. I’ve been rocking a winged liner like it is my JOB.

4- Coconut Oil

I love this post about all the uses of coconut oil. I personally use it the most for a moisturizer, makeup remover, and to shave my legs.

5- Clarisonic Mia2

This is a bit of an update for you- I am in love with this! I’ve been using it ever day and have noticed a great difference in my skin texture. If I skip a day I can tell which is the sign of a good product. I use it with the philosophy purity cleanser and I think it is worth the investment for sure!

Okay, so those are my Five Friday Faves in the makeup department for January. Next month I will film it!

Well I finally got a new camera and have been loving it. Yesterday I decided to film my “Five Minute Face” tutorial since I needed to put makeup on anyway. The problem with filming and talking during the filming is that it doesn’t take five minutes.

I did time this several times and got between 5-7 minutes every time when I just did my makeup without having to stop. So I promise it is a quick face! ha! This isn’t my favorite video but some people who have no makeup experience will get something out of it!

The most important thing to look out for is the times I break out into random song. I just can’t help it. I am so my mother.

What I Used:

Dr Brandt Pores No More Primer
BareNaked by BareMinerals Foundation in 007 Bare Natural
Loreal True Match Concealer in Neutral
Maybelline Color Tattoo : colors Barely Branded and Bad to the Bronze
Naked 2 Pallette : shadow colors Tease (eyebrows) and Blackout (liner)
Hoola Bronzer by Benefit
Tarte Amazonian Clay Blush in Classic
CoverGirl LashBlast mascara in Very Black
Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain in Honey

(Not mentioned because I forgot- I used a CoverGirl pressed powder to set my under eyes and T-zone. CAN’T BELIEVE I FORGOT TO SAY THAT!)

Hope you enjoyed the video! Let me know you’re favorite easy face products!
