Breaking News, y’all!

I’m tired.

Seriously, I
think I’m more tired of talking about how tired I am than being
tired from all the non-sleep that happens around here.

Did that make any sense?
Anyone out there still reading this monotonous blog?

Hello?

I need to move to the beach and have
a pool so that I can just wear my kids out every single day like we
did on the cruise to ensure they sleep well. I wonder if Andrew
will go along with this idea… ???

On the whole weightloss front,
things are going well. I’m 4 lbs down and trying to get into a good
exercising routine.

Unfortunately, this is a nasty time of year in TN with
lots of rain and cold weather and this last week that has been my
excuse for not being able to run as much as I need to.

Therefore, I will be joining a
gym this week because I have to eliminate all excuses to not
exercise. Because I can totally make up an excuse.

Oh, man. The stars aren’t out enough
tonight… definitely can’t run.

Look! The wind is blowing towards the
north/south/east/west, definitely can’t run today!

ha!

But for real.

Unfortunately, I DO have a nasty
cold and cannot breathe at all so that has me down feeling like
crap. But I don’t care if it kills me, tomorrow I’m working
out.

I’ve been
researching blogs and weight loss websites etc to see what is
consistent between them all to come up with my own plan that’ll
work for me as a stay-at-home mom.

I know I can always go on Tues/Thurs
when the girls are at school and I’m going to start going on
Saturdays during nap time… which by the way is a HUGE sacrifice
for me. I need to find another day and time to workout as well. I
just don’t want Andy to come home from work and immediately have to
be on babysit mode because that isn’t fair and always causes chaos
with dinner and bedtime etc.

Oh, and the gyms here don’t have childcare or else I’D
BE UP THERE AT THE GYM EVERY SINGLE DAY. Can I get an
amen????

Anyways!

Another project I’ve decided to do this year is the 365
picture project. I’m going to catch up today and then after today I
will try to do better about taking pictures with my for real camera
instead of just always with my phone. I can’t wait to get to put
these together as a book at the end of next year.

I did get my camera out to start practicing and using it again. I just have been overwhelmed because I have this awesome camera and don’t know how to properly use it. So this year I’m going to just try to start using it and start learning the basics.

On Friday it
was GORGEOUS here so we played outside. Rory and Ryder got sticks
and Rory proclaimed that they were on a mission to find Captain
Hook!

Rory,
explaining the story of how they got Captain Hook and how they need
to save everyone. She is always thinking and always planning and
always making up stories. It is probably my very favorite thing
about her.

Ryder is quite the little comedian. She is always,
always so silly.

  1. I am loving the pictures. Proud of your goals. Be careful with the lungs I don’t want you to end up taking as long as I have to get well. Might need an inhaler.

I love hearing from y'all! Leave a comment below!
