  1. Our favorite Christmas tradition is always the fun, stressful family gatherings! Haha. Congrats on 50k! And you are definitely cool enough for Visa to know you!

  2. Favorite tradition is going as a family to pick out our real Christmas tree every year! We are still trying to convince Blane this is fun bc he screamed “No” every single time we picked up a tree to look at… He still stares at it oddly in our living room! Congrats on all the views! I love reading all the Rory adventures… She reminds me of a certain young mischievous girl???? Lol

  3. Hands down – making bourbon balls. It was something my daddy and I did every Christmas. I remember rolling out the balls and dipping them in chocolate. Since his death nearly eight years ago, I have carried on the tradition. Making them is actually what is on the agenda for tonight after my daughter goes to bed. Every year I make them, I think of the sweet memories with my dad.

  4. My husband’s family has always awaken Christmas morning and instead of running to see what Santa has brought them, the first pile into their parents’ room and read the story of Jesus’ birth! When I married him, I got to be apart of this tradition and I feel that it just puts things into perspective! It shows that even in the excitement of gifts, we should first take time to remember what the day is really about! It will be a tradition that we carry on with our family!

  5. My favorite holiday tradition is one we just started a few years back 🙂 Each year my daughter gets to open one present on Christmas Eve and it is a new pair of PJs. She wears those to bed and then gets to spend basically all of Christmas in her PJs! I think it’s lots of fun 🙂

  6. My sons have always gotten to pick one gift from under the tree to open on Christmas Eve. I have been doing this since they were little. Although they are grown now (22 & 24), they still want to open that one gift! It makes my heart melt that this is something that they look forward to! I SOOOOO enjoy your blog….it makes my week to get to be a part of The Crazy Harris Life! GOD has blessed you & Andy with two precious girls and I am so very happy for the both of you. Happy Holidays to you all!

  7. Our favorite tradition is the Christmas Eve service at our church. I love to pick out the kids’ outfits, take pictures, and all sit together (even when babies are screaming – ha!) When we come back home we can pick one present to open, then save the rest for Christmas morning. Love your blog, Tiffany!

  8. Our favorite tradition is making hot chocolate and smores roasting on our fire . . . I’m excited cause this year we are going to do it with all the neighborhood kiddos too!!

  9. My favorite tradition is to pray the “Divine Jesus” novena, which starts on December 16th, and ends with the birth of little Jesus. I tried to teach my children, that the meaning of Christmas is to celebrate the Birthday of Jesus.

  10. First of all, your blog is so much fun to read. It makes me laugh just about every week! You have such a great way to describe things and tell stories and I can just see Rory getting into all the stuff she does.

  11. Tiffany, love your posts and love your girls. so special. My favorite tradition is the entire Christmas season. it is hard to pick just one. From the children’s plays at church, getting out of school for Christmas break, our Christmas tree, and being with family.

  14. My favorite tradition is when my dad reads the Christmas story out of the Bible to everyone. He has always done this, from the time we were in our baby beds. 🙂 He used to use a flannel nativity set too. Now the tradition lives on, and he makes a point to read to all of the grandchildren.. and us too of course, because we still love it.

  15. Our favorite tradition is always getting
Christmas pajamas to wear Christmas eve.
I’m not quite sure how the tradition started
but I do love new pajamas!!

  16. My favorite Christmas tradition is…Christmas itself! Too many to list! And I love reading your blog because it reminds me of being stuck at home with two small little girls who want my undivided, uninterrupted attention; being endlessly tired; praying for warm weather; loving to see the grandparents come; and looking forward to nap time! You will survive!

  17. My favorite Christmas tradition is having my girls and their families home, whenever it is. Having “Christmas breakfast” with chocolate and biscuit.

  18. Our family has Christmas traditions that begin with Christmas Eve service at church followed by hamburgers and homemade french fries for supper. We eat a big breakfast of bacon, eggs, etc for Christmas morning then begin opening the mounds of presents. We eat a lunch of roast, rice, gravy, and all the trimmings (especially the celery with pimento cheese filling that my kids like to make fun of me for). We call this “Big Fat Family Fun Time”. Thanks for your blog this year. It has been most heartwarming and inspirational and a lot of fun.

  19. My favorite Christmas tradition is making Martha Washington candy. We always made it with our grandmother, and since this is our first year without her, we are planning on carrying on the tradition :). Love your blog!

  26. I have lots of favorite traditions because this is my favorite month of the year! But… Elf on the shelf has really been exciting for the kids! Also, driving around looking at Christmas lights, and snuggling up at home watching Christmas movies! And then of course watching kenlie’s face light up on Christmas morning when she sees all of her presents from Santa!
Ps- I just LoVE reading your blog! Glad to know I’m not the only one with a somewhat “crazy” life! 😉

  27. My family couldn’t afford a real tree so we would always trapse out on the Kansas prairie and dig up a tumbleweed (not making this up folks). We’d spray paint it green and plant it in a pot of quickcrete, then decorate! A great tradition.

  28. My Mom and Da always made breakfast for my sister and I and our families! Homemade biscuits with melted cheddar cheese, spaghetti and cheese, and fried ham! Oh how I miss those times! My parents are in their 80s now and my Mom has Alzheimers disease but, that’s one memory I’ll never forget! Merry Christmas everyone!

  29. getting up on Christmas morning to see what Santa has left under the tree and spending the day with family with no schedules or deadlines. Love reading your blogs, you are a gifted writer.

  30. Every Christmas Eve we take a ride on an old steam train to see Father Christmas, and then we go to the candlelit carol service at a beautiful cathedral. You can’t beat hearing the Christmas story and singing the old favourites accompanied by a booming pipe organ to make you feel festive! And this year we’ll be taking our new baby girl with us as well! I love reading your blog – we just hit 50,000 visits on our blog too – our son Charlie has a scar to match Ryder’s! Have a lovely Christmas!

  31. My favorite holiday tradition is getting a new ornament every year. My mom started this with my brother and me when we were little because she said when she and my dad got married they had no ornaments of their own for their tree. She always picked out something that represented the last year in our lives and it made me feel so special. Now I have more than enough ornaments for our tree and I’ve started this tradition with Wilder too. 🙂

    Congrats on 50,000+ views! That’s awesome! 🙂
